Day 1

Absolutely exhausted - what didn't we do today would probably be the most appropriate question to ask! I'm going to keep this short cos it's 11:30pm here and were waking up at 6am tomorrow and have a full day ahead but today:

Today we first drove and hiked to a place called Dragons Breath - they call it that because when the waters rough it comes up and hits the rocks and looks like smoke.

We jumped off the small cliff into the cave and I'm not gonna lie I was so scared! I'm not the most confident person in water and was really proud of myself for conquering the fear! We swam around there for a while, on the way there we had to cross rocks which were about the size of footballs and I stepped on one that moved and managed to elegantly fall over and now I have a booboo on my elbow and a big impressive bruise on my leg woohoo (free souvenirs I guess) after dragons mouth we walked and had to jump from one cliff to another which was one of THE scariest things ever! I ended up working my way around it and stepping across but the water was rough below and I was still a huge scaredy! We visited a small waterfall and then headed off to hanalai beach to get some lunch, we got burritos and they were gooood.

After lunch we headed to do a hike which was craaaazy hard. It was all uphill and we ended up only going to the first point because we (I) was on the edge of death, it really took it out of me especially after all the other activities earlier! After the hike we went to Queens bath which is a pool of ocean water in rocks, it was really beautiful but is a big tourist attraction so there were a lot of people. After queens bath we went to a big waterfall to wash off the salt water, it was one of the most beautiful walks of the entire day, I didn't end up jumping into the waterfall because the cliff was so high and I was beyond exhausted and didn't think I'd be able to swim in the choppy water cos it was quite rough but it was still my favourite place of the day.

After all of the activities we went to kapaas main shopping area and looked at some shops, jo and I got shaved ice which was delicious, and we went into a beautiful glass blowing store and they had these amazing jellyfish light things that I looooved but they were very expensive.

When we got home we had piña coladas and dinner and all in all I think it was a very successful day!
